and the beat goes on...

I am still going through my data set trying to figure out what the extraction script did. I KNOW there is an easier way to do this but my programming friend is out of the office and my adviser gets back tomorrow. So I am going to do what I can and see how far I can get.

Looks like this weekend I am going to look at some rocks!!! It will be a welcome break from the frustration of dealing with my seismic data. I am not very good at this yet. I am getting there... I am getting better at controlling my unix machine. But I still have a long ways to go.

I got very behind on my reading during finals and then spent a week brain dead... and I finally got Pride and Prejudice and Zombies so getting caught up on reading hasn't happened yet! I have a bunch of articles I would like to read from the geotimes website ...

I messed around with Illustrator a bit and feel better about using it to make my poster... which I also need to start to text for, and that paper I am working on I need to finish....

HOWEVER I am co-second author on a paper that has been submitted to JVGR so I am crossing my fingers on that one. That is a paper that deals with my senior thesis with my favorite (still) type of data... infrasound!

and now I really should get back to work!

P.S. I watched the end of the sunset at 11:30pm last night. I <3 Alaskan summers!
